Go to Lake Placid. Head out of Lake Placid on NY State Route 86 East (towards Wilmington). Drive
12.1 miles. Keep following Route 86 east through Wilmington.
In the town of Jay (5.1miles) turn Left onto NY State Route 9N
Follow Route 9N to the Town of Keeseville (17.7miles)
At the second traffic light in Keeseville turn left onto NY State Route 9
Go 1.6 miles (you will see signs for Ausable Chasm) go past the Ausable Chasm Welcome Center and turn right onto route 373.
After turning onto Route 373 you will see the Ausable Chasm Camp Ground on your left. Just past the Campground on your left is the Equine
Center sign and parking area. You will not see the staging area or horses from the road. Follow the foot path about 100ft to the staging area.
Take Exit 34 (Keeseville) and turn Right (towards Keeseville) onto Route 9N
At the second traffic light in Keeseville turn left onto NY State Route 9
